Do you enjoy watching food videos on the internet? If you answered yes, then this article is for you. The internet is flooded with various cooking videos, some of which are experimental, some of which are insightful, and then there are some, which are unique (or perhaps bizarre!), leaving us thoroughly entertained. We recently came across a video on Instagram in which a street vendor in Dadar (Mumbai) is making a 'Manchurian Pav.' Yes, you heard us right! No wonder why people say that Maharashtrians are obsessed with pavs.
In the video, a street vendor is seen frying manchurian balls and then stuffing them into pav buns with chopped cabbage and mayonnaise. The video has already been viewed over one million views and has elicited many mixed comments. Emojis of shock and disgust abound in the post. Many people thought it was funny and left laughing emojis. One user wrote, "Maharashtra mei everything and anything is served with pav. Why not Chinese? (In Maharashtra, anything and everything is served with pav. Why not Chinese?)." Another user wrote, "Must be tasty but very unhealthy." And more such comments.
Would you like to try this manchurian pav despite the internet's negative feedback? We're not sure if we will, but all this talk about Indo-Chinese has us craving some to go with our evening tea.
