Prajakta Koli has openly admitted her love for food. The YouTuber and actress revealed that a hearty meal makes her happy. Prajakta agrees that she just cannot follow a “strict diet”. Restricting her cravings makes her “clinically sick and sad”. In a recent interview, Prajakta explained that focusing on physical and mental well-being is the cornerstone of leading a healthy lifestyle.
In a conversation with Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa on Bharti TV Podcast, Prajakta Koli explained, “I have actually gained weight but lost fat. There was too much inflammation, bloating and water retention in my body. My weight was actually much less earlier, but because I have gained muscle, I am heavier now, but I am toned.”
Prajakta Koli added, “I cannot diet. I find happiness in eating food, I cannot leave my food habits. I tried going on a strict diet once but I feel it made me clinically sick and made me so sad. I did cut down on refined flour but did not follow a strict diet.”
Sharing an anecdote from the lockdown days, Prajakta Koli said, “After COVID-19, I realised I had become very unhealthy. I was not getting enough sleep, not eating healthy, not drinking enough water. Since my skin got bad, I was experiencing hair fall and I got breathless after walking just four steps. I was sure that I was not in the best of health. I love working and realised that I have a long way to go. That's when my fitness journey started. But with time, I understood that more than my physical health, my mental health depended on fitness and exercise.”
Prajakta Koli's Instagram serves as proof that she is a foodie. Last month, she indulged in a scrumptious platter of Tambda Rassa. This Kolhapuri dish is prepared using mutton stock and aromatic spices. She paired the dish with chapatis and an array of chutneys.
