Ingredients of Tamatar Ki Chaat
- 1 Cup Tomatoes Cut into Dices
- 2 tbsp Ghee (Clarified Butter)
- 1/4 cup Onion , chopped
- 1/2 tsp Green Chilly, chopped
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Boiled Potatoes
- 1 tbsp Green Coriander chopped
- 1 tsp Juice of Lemon
- 1 tsp Degi Mirch
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Salt
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
- 1 tbsp Raisins
- Sugar Syrup
- 1 cup Water
- 3 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Roasted Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1/4 tsp Red Chilly Powder
- Garnish and Finish
- 4 tbsp Green Coriander and Mint chutney
- 1 tbsp Cashew nuts fried and crushed
- 1 tbsp Paneer 1/8th inch cubes fried
- Sev or Nimak Para
- 1 tbsp Green Coriander Chopped
- 1 tsp Mint leaves
How to Make Tamatar Ki Chaat

Heat Ghee in a pan.

Add ginger and green chillies and cook for 30 seconds on medium heat.

Add onions and cook till light brown in colour.
4.
Add diced tomatoes, salt and degi mirch.
5.
Cook till oil separates out about 2 minutes.
6.
Add water and simmer till the tomatoes are nicely mashed about 10 minutes.
Sugar Syrup
1.
Bring one cup of water to boil.
2.
Add sugar and cook till dissolved.
3.
Add rest of the ingredients.
Garnish and Finish
1.
Take 4tbsp’s of the prepared tomato mixture in a plate.
2.
Add one tbsp. of the prepared sugar syrup mix well.
3.
Top with one tbsp of green chutney.
4.
Garnish with ½ tbsp. of fried cashew nuts, half tbsp. of sev or nimak para.
5.
Fresh green coriander leaves and mint leaves. Serve warm.
