Ingredients of Aloo Suji Idli

  • 3 Cups Sooji
  • 2 Cups Dahi
  • 1 Tbsp Fruit Salt
  • 2 Boiled Potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Aloo Suji Idli

Take some suji and curd, mix it well and leave it to ferment for two hours.

Till then mash some boiled potatoes and add masalas like red chilli, turmeric, green chilli, and salt as per taste. Combine the aloo masala and let it cool.

Once the idli batter ferments, add some fruit salt and mix immediately.

Then pour this batter into the idli steamer, only fill half of the dish and then add the prepared aloo masala in between.

Add some more idli batter from top and cover. Let it steam till the idlis are cooked.

Serve and enjoy!
