Ingredients of Bhee ji tikki

  • 250 gms Lotus Stem
  • 4 Small Potatoes
  • 1/2 Medium Onion
  • 2 Tbsp Coriander Leaves
  • 2-3 Chopped Chillies
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi
  • 1/2 tsp Aamchur
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Besan
  • Salt as required
  • Jeera powder as required
  • Dhaniya powder as required

How to Make Bhee ji tikki

Boil the lotus steam and aloo separately until mushy.

Once done take them out and mash together.

To this add chopped onion, coriander, chilli, aamchur, a pinch of dhaniya nd jeera powder and salt as required. Mix everything and keep it aside.

Prepare batter, mix besan, salt, haldi, pinch of jeera powder and dhaniya powder, water and make a semi liquidy batter thick enough to coat the tikki properly.
5.
Get your mashed aloo and bhee mixture, make flat oval shape and dip in the batter.
6.
Fry until golden brown and serve hot with the chutney of your choice.
