Boondi ki sabzi is a great Indian dish that can be had for a quick lunch or dinner. It is a belter of a desi sabzi that offers everything we look for in a simple yet powerful homemade plate of food.

Ingredients of Boondi Ki Sabzi

  • 1 Cup Boondi
  • 2 small Chopped onion
  • 2 small Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1 tsp Crushed garlic
  • A pinch of Hing
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • For Garnishing :
  • Sev (optional)
  • Coriander Leaves

How to Make Boondi Ki Sabzi

  • 1.Heat oil in pan, add hing and wait till it splutters.
  • 2.Add onion and let it brown, saute ginger and garlic.
  • 3.Add tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder, and cook.
  • 4.Add boondi, sprinkle some water. Cover the pan and let it all cook together for 2 minutes.
  • 5.Add garam masala powder, coriander leaves and sev (optional). Serve.
