Ingredients of Buckwheat Crepe with Strawberry Stew

  • 250 gms Buckwheat Flour or Mixed seeds flour/Black wheat flour
  • 150 ml Low fat Milk/ Coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp Flax seeds
  • 1 nos Star anise
  • 100 fluid ounce Water
  • 200 gms Strawberries
  • 1 Inch Cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 ml Stevia
  • Salt - a pinch

How to Make Buckwheat Crepe with Strawberry Stew

For the crepe, combine buckwheat flour, low fat milk, crushed flax seeds and water and make a thin batter. Add a pinch of salt

Heat a non-stick pan and grease with a bit of coconut oil/ vegetable oil.

Add a thin layer of the batter and spread it on the non-stick pan.

For the stew, cut the strawberries into thick slices.
5.
Take a heavy bottom pan and add the strawberries with a little bit of water and cinnamon stick and star anise.

Cook for fifteen minutes until the strawberries are cooked through but still holding their shape and the sauce is thickened.
7.
Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
8.
Spoon the stew over the cooked crepes and enjoy.
