Ingredients of Cheesy Paneer Kulcha

  • 1 Cup Sooji
  • 1 cup Maida
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Soda
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Kalonji (black cumin)
  • 1/2 cup Warm milk
  • Water (as required)
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • For Stuffing:
  • 1 cup Grated paneer
  • 1 cup Grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dry mango powder
  • to taste Black salt

How to Make Cheesy Paneer Kulcha

To begin with the recipe, you first need to knead the dough by mixing sooji and curd in a mixing bowl.

Once the sooji has soaked in the yogurt then add maida, oil, baking soda, sugar and salt to it and knead together into a smooth dough.

Cover the dough with a lid and let it refrigerate for two hours to leaven.

Now in a mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients mentioned for the stuffing. Check the seasoning and adjust to your taste.

Now make a lemon size ball of the stuffing and place the ingredients in the center. Close from all the sides.
6.
Apply a little water and sprinkle kalonji and coriander and press a little. Roll it like a paratha.
7.
Heat pan, place the kulcha on top of that. Press a little by using fingers. Flip the tawa to cook the upper side of the kulcha.
8.
Serve with chole, pyaaz ki chutney and enjoy!
