Ingredients of Chicken Katsu Burger

  • For Tonkatsu Sauce
  • 240 mililitres Rice wine vinegar
  • 120 mililitres Honey
  • 60 mililitres Dark soya sauce
  • 15 gram Onion Powder
  • 3 gram Crush Black pepper
  • 60 mililitres Worcestershire sauce
  • 370 gram Tomato Ketchup
  • For Panko Breaded Chicken
  • 160 gram Chicken leg boneless
  • 30 gram Refined Flour
  • 50 mililitres Egg Wash ( egg yolk and water )
  • 100 gram Panko bread crumb
  • For Burger Set Up
  • 1 nos Burger bun
  • 30 mililitres Butter
  • 30 mililitres Tonkatsu sauce
  • 1 nos Tonkatsu sauce
  • 1/4 cup Pickled Onion
  • 4 slice Pickled cucumber
  • 1 nos Fried Panko chicken
  • 15 mililitres Tonkatsu sauce
  • 142 gram French fries
  • Pickled vegetable
  • 1/4 cup Onion thick slice
  • 4 slices Cucumber
  • 2 nos Bay leaf
  • 6 Black pepper whole
  • 15 mililitres White Vinegar
  • 8 gram Sugar
  • Water for Dilution.
  • 4 Sprigs Thyme

How to Make Chicken Katsu Burger

Cut Burger bun spread with butter both side and toasted.
2.
Drizzle Tonkatsu sauce around 30 ml on bottom of the bun.
3.
Place iceberg lettuce on top of bottom bun.
4.
Place home pickled cucumber & onion slice on top of the lettuce.
5.
Place crispy fried burger on top of the pickled veg.
6.
Drizzle Tonkatsu sauce top of the fried patty.
7.
Place top bun top of patty.
8.
Serve it hot along with Fries or salad.
