Fish marinated in a beautiful and refreshing masala of coriander leaves, green chillies and a miscellany of spices, steamed lovely and served fresh.

Ingredients of Fish in Green Masala

  • For green masala:
  • 3/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies, chopped
  • 2 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 6 pepper corns
  • 6 cloves
  • 1/4 cinnamon, powdered
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

How to Make Fish in Green Masala

  • 1.Grind all the ingredients together.
  • 2.Grease a piece of plantain leaf and place some masala in the centre.
  • 3.Place a piece of filleted fish over it and cover fish also with some masala.
  • 4.Wrap the fish in the leaf, secure with thread and steam.
