A garlic soup is one of the easiest soups to make out there, get your choice of veggies or meat and add a head of garlic to the preparation.

Ingredients of Garlic Soup

  • 1 Head Garlic
  • 6-7 Garlic (Crushed)
  • 1 Inch Ginger (Crushed)
  • 1 large Onion (Chopped)
  • 1 medium Carrot (Chopped)
  • Vegetables of your choice (Cabbages, green peas, corn, beans etc)
  • 1 tsp Cornflour
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1 tbsp Butter

How to Make Garlic Soup

In a pan heat butter and add crushed ginger garlic, sauté for some time and onions and other vegetables too.

Cook everything until the veggies are slightly soft.

Add water according to the desired quantity. Add the head of garlic and black pepper along with salt.

Let it boil until everything is cooked properly.

In another bowl mix cornflour and 2 tbsp. water. Add this slurry to the boiling soup and let it boil for another 5 minutes.
6.
Take off the heat and serve along hot toasted bread or croutons.
