Ingredients of Kuttu Dahi Bhalla

  • For bhalla:
  • 300 gms kuttu aata
  • 10 gms green chilli, chopped
  • to taste sendha namak
  • 10 gms fresh coriander, chopped
  • Oil (for frying)
  • 75 gms potato (boiled without salt)
  • For yogurt:
  • 250 ml yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (crushed)
  • 1 tsp cumin powder, roasted
  • 2-3 tsp sugar
  • to taste sendha namak
  • for garnishing pomegranate seeds

How to Make Kuttu Dahi Bhalla

Make the batter with Kuttu ka atta, potato, green chilli, fresh coriander and salt.

Make small dumplings of the mixture and fry in oil on low flame. Once cooked. Soak them in cold water and keep them aside.

Whisk curd and sugar together, gradually adding black pepper, roasted cumin and salt.
4.
Remove the dumplings from water and squeeze them gently while draining excess water.
5.
Place the dumplings in a platter or bowl and pour the sweetened yoghurt on the top.
6.
Garnish with pomegranate seeds and fresh coriander and serve cold.
