Ingredients of Prawn Potato Soup

  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 potato
  • 6-7 prawns
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 40 gms butter
  • coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • Salt
  • Water

How to Make Prawn Potato Soup

  • 1.Peel and cut the potato into big chunks. Boil the onions and potatoes and make a puree.
  • 2.Peel and devein the prawns. Wash and cut into small pieces.
  • 3.Separate the white and the yolk of the eggs. Whisk the yolk with milk.
  • 4.Heat butter in a pan, add the prawns and cook. As they start glazing, add onion and potato puree.
  • 5.Then add egg yolk and milk mixture. Cook for some time.
  • 6.As the soup starts thickening, add water, salt and coriander leaves. Cook for some time.
  • 7.Now gently add the egg white, stirring constantly. Serve hot.
