Ingredients of Pumpkin and Coconut Shorba
- 250 gms pumpkin
- 50 ml coconut milk
- 5 gms onion, chopped
- 10 gms ginger, chopped
- 10 gms garlic, chopped
- 3 gms green chili, chopped
- 3 gms fennel seeds
- 1 Star anise
- to taste Salt
- Sugar (optional)
How to Make Pumpkin and Coconut Shorba

In a heavy bottom pan, take roughly chopped red pumpkin, onion, ginger, garlic, fennel seeds and star anise.

Cover with water and simmer on slow heat till pumpkin is tender.

Blend it in blender and strain it.

Place it back on fire and bring to a boil.

Add coconut milk.

Adjust the seasoning with salt and sugar.
