This recipe of idli involves soybean along with rice and urad dal- which makes the whole recipe enriched with good protein.

Ingredients of Soya Idli
- 1 Cup Soyabean
- 1 cup White Urad Dal
- 1 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
- 1 cup Idli Rice
- 1 tsp Chana Dal
- to taste Salt

Firstly, soak dal, rice and soyabean separately in bowls.
Add methi seeds and chana dal together in the bowl of urad dal. Soak the rice atleast 5-6 hours.
Once soaked, grind all the ingredients together into a thick and consistent paste. Add a little bit of water and grind again.
Add the salt and stir well to combine. Cover the bowl and ferment the Batter for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Once fermented, mix again. Steam in an idli steamer and serve hot with sambar and nariyal ki chutney alongside.
