Ingredients of Whole Wheat Nankhatai
2 Cups wheat flour
1 tbsp gram flour
1 tbsp rice flour
1 tbsp baking powder
2 cups powder sugar
1/2 cup ghee
2 tbsp yogurt
2 tbsp rawa
A pinch of salt
for garnishing almonds
How to Make Whole Wheat Nankhatai
1.In a bowl put all the flour, add baking powder, rawa and mix all together.
2.In a separate bowl, add ghee and sugar powder mix it with your hand and add yogurt.
3.Mix in the dry ingredient to the ghee- sugar. Combine to make a dough.
4.Make small balls and pat it gently to flatten the top portion.
5.Add an almond on top of each nankhatai, place them on a greased tray or lined baking tray.
6.Place the pan in a pre-heated oven (200 degrees Celsius).
7.Bake (170 degrees Celsius) for 16 minutes until the edges of the nankhatai changes the colour to light brown.
