Ingredients of Sheer Sewai

  • 250 Gram Vermicelli, roasted
  • 4 tbsp Ghee
  • 750 ml Milk
  • 400 gram Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Saffron strands (soaked in 1 Tbsp of water)
  • 100 gram Khoya (crumbled)
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  • 1 tbsp Pistachio nuts
  • 1 tbsp Almond slivers, roasted
  • 2 tbsp Cashew nuts
  • To decorate Silver leaf

How to Make Sheer Sewai

Fry vermicelli in hot ghee until colored.

Pour in milk. Allow it to simmer for two minutes.
3.
Add sugar and continue cooking until sugar dissolves.
4.
Stir in saffron, khoya, raisins and nuts.
5.
Decorate with silver leaf, remaining saffron and dried fruit.
6.
Serve.

Recipe Notes
