Actor Bhumi Pednekar is ringing in her 29th birthday today. After having nailed her performance in Dum Laga Ke Haisha alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi has played some exceptional roles in Toilet - Ek Prem Katha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and was recently seen in one of the stories in Lust Stories, of which she was directed by ace director Zoya Akhtar. She will be seen in Manmarziyaan, which is slated to be released this year. Since her debut, Bhumi has come a long way and is considered one of the most promising actors in the B-Town. Apart from her acting skills, what makes her different is how she managed to lose so much weight after her stint in Dum Laga Ke Haisha and looked fit in her other performances. Bhumi Pednekar's Diet Secrets

In one of her interviews, Bhumi mentioned that she tries cutting out refined sugar, saturated fats of any kind and wheat and instead switched to bajra and jowar. While she is dieting, she prefers eating lots of nuts that help her keep going all day long. She includes a lot of proteins in her diet to ensure she is energised through the day. The Shubh Mangal Saavdhan actor ensures eating healthy, but does not forget bingeing on butter chicken and naan sometimes. She believes in portion control that helps her keep fit.
