Made with simple ingredients found in our kitchen pantry, green chilli meat has boneless mutton chunks mixed with a myriad of spices and herbs including cumin, ginger, garlic, coriander, onion and curd. The primary ingredient in this dish is green chillies that are split with the seeds removed before adding to the meat mix. The mix is covered with a tight fitting lid in a deep vessel and left to cook for about 1 hour, 15 minutes, until the meat is tender. It is seasoned with tomatoes wedges right before serving hot!
