There's something deliciously lazy and relaxing about a hearty Sunday brunch. Think about it; there cannot be a better way to spend the latter part of the weekend enjoying a large spread, with a bunch of people you like. The good news is that as we head towards shorter days and cooler nights, the season of brunching is kick-starting too. And that, almost always, calls for a celebration! Gurugram is particularly enthusiastic about Sunday brunches, I feel. Another weekend or two, families, both large and small, are going to be out on Sunday late mornings at a restaurant of their liking to enjoy a hearty spread.
Seasonal Tastes, The Westin, Gurugram's all-day dining, and Sunday brunch venue has notched up its weekend brunches with a whole lot of flair and an even more extensive selection of cuisines. The Marvels of Culinaire brunch is a coming together of all the Chefs at the property and their signature dishes, all served fresh, in addition to the regular brunch buffet.
The signature stations will include a wide selection of seafood, grills, and regional food of the Sunday brunch selection, aiming to provide a brunching experience like never before.
Chef Sadab Qureshi, who recently joined the team here, will bring Awadhi delicacies like Gilawat ke Kebab and Murgh Chengezi along with vegetarian delights like Subz Lifafa-e-Khas, Paneer Rozali Handi to the spread. His Shahi Tukda is one dessert I would strongly recommend you try out.

Chef Marco Murenu, the Italian Maestro from Sardinia, is going to pick one particular region of Italy every week and present the signature ravioli dishes and style from there. The menu will rotate and will offer fabulous flavours but his stories and love for all things Italian will remain a constant. Look out for Ravioli of Piedmont (spinach in a creamy, buttery sauce), the Sicilian Ravioli Alla Norma with eggplant and mozzarella, served in a creamy tomato sauce.
Chef Jatsalid Sirimongkolthong will serve Thai street-style dishes like satay, Som Tam and Tom yum soup. I tried a plate of fresh Minced Chicken Krapow and would recommend you try it too. It has loads of fresh basil and chili!
Chef Venicio Cadavida (aka Chef Dondon) is a Sushi Master who has created a wide range of vegetarian Sushi options for the guests, keeping in mind the upcoming Navratri season. His station will also boast of signature Japanese favourites like Kanpyo roll, Nappa Hakusai, and Chukka Wakame roll.
Chef Siow Tek Woon (aka Chef Steven) is a master of Malay-Chinese flavours and will serve his Mother's recipe of the Malaysian Laksa curry served with chicken, prawns or his special Assam Tiger Prawns.

A special mention for the pure-veg South-Indian spread that has some flavourful dishes such as Avial, Gobhi 65, Egg Hopper and delish Paniyarams.
The renewed energy and zing in the flavours and dining experiences at The Westin is palpable. The best part is that Executive Chef Anurudh Khanna, who took over the culinary reigns of the property a few months back, has been able to do this just in time for the festive season. This curated lifestyle Sunday Brunch is sure to bring good times ahead for all.
Marvels of the Culinaire Sunday Brunch is available every Sunday starting September 22nd till October 20th, 2019, from 12.30 pm to 04.00 pm at Seasonal Tastes.
The brunch is priced at INR 2537 per person inclusive of taxes for non-alcoholic brunch, with various add-ons for beverage packages. For reservations and details, please call +91-7838090923 or email at seasonaltastes.gurgaon@westin.com
