The capital city of India never ceases to surprise you, offering some of the world’s most loved flavours. And in the last few years, Delhi has witnessed the launch of a number of restaurants including fine dining concepts, creative cafes, midnight deliveries and stand alone restaurants. With chic interiors, inventive cocktails and mouth-watering food, it just doesn’t get better than this. Especially with gourmet delivery service Lettuce Eat and Chef Manu Chandra's Fatty Bao launching today, brace yourselves foodies.
Here are 10 exciting restaurants opening in Delhi that will wrestle for your attention in the coming months of 2015.
Lord of The Drinks
Located in the heart of the capital city, Priyank Sukhija’s new endeavour will soon be Delhi’s biggest island bar occupying a space of 18000 square feet in Connaught Place. Executive Chef Dinesh built up some excitement as he spilled the beans on the extensive food menu that will be including “a wide array of European appetisers, scrumptious pizzas and pastas. Since I am originally from Mumbai, you can be sure to expect some spiked chuskis and golas.” Luckily for us, the alcohol menu at Lord of The Drinks will be more affordable compared to Mr. Sukhija’s other ventures. Think: mouth-watering appetisers, beer on the tap and innovative cocktails. We definitely can’t wait for September!

ChocoVaultIndia’s first chocolate cafe, ChocoVault is sure to become your favourite. It is gearing up to wow chocolate lovers with sinful desserts made of 100% Belgium chocolate and an extravagant space with giant vault-shaped door doused in chocolate, chocolate dripping from ceilings, melted chocolate on the tables - you name it!
Owner Mukund Khandelwal remarks, “Our signature dishes include Dark Magic, Mocha Twirl, Seventh Heaven and a sinful Waffle Stick. We also have slurpee shakes on the menu.”

Delhi Club House
After Marut Sikka’s hit international bar Keya and contemporary Indian restaurant Kainoosh, he will soon be launching his next venture, Delhi Club House, at Sangam Courtyard. We can't wait to find out about the delectable dishes that will be included in the menu. Rumour has it: the celebrity Chef will now be taking on classic club food.

Celebrity chef and restaurateur Jamie Oliver has signed a partnership with Dolomite Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. for his new restaurant in the capital city. His highly successful international restaurant chain will be making its debut in Autumn 2015 itself. Jamie's Italian will be a 120-130 seat restaurant serving a full Italian menu priced at a very affordable level. They will be serving freshly made pasta, grills, healthy salads and pizzas. The restaurant design will be modern, beautiful and comfortable. We’re definitely looking forward to this upcoming restaurant for some delicious Italian treats.

The new kid on the block, Ziu, a 'Progressive Thai Cuisine' restaurant will be opening very soon by Gurmehar Sekhri. The vibe of the restaurant is said to be warm and welcoming. A dining and entertainment space that will surely find a place in our hearts.

With a glass house lounge by the pool and a waterfront cabana, this open air restaurant is all set to impress. The Nest @ Tavern On The Greens promises a luxurious space coupled with quality food, serving Continental, Asian and Mediterranean cuisines. It’s romantic by nature but also the perfect place to catch up with friends over some sheesha.

If you’re hungry at night and too lazy to venture out, Crazy Bruno will be opening yet another outlet at Qutub Tiffin, opposite Qutub Minar. And Knight Bites at Safdarjung Development Area, serving chicken samosa, popcorn, other bite-sized snacks and sandwiches (10 pm to 4 am) will soon be just a call away for midnight delivery.
