Maha Kumbh is one of the largest religious congregations in the world, held every 12 years in India. Amid the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela from January 13 till February 26, millions of devotees are travelling to Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, to participate in the religious festival and take a dip in the sacred waters of the Triveni Sangam. Despite the incredible crowd, many devotees cannot attend the spiritual event for various reasons. However, they can now place orders for the Mahaprasad offerings from the sacred cities of Prayagraj, Ayodhya, and Varanasi.
Waayu, a food delivery app, has partnered with Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to deliver an estimate of over 1.5 crore Mahaprasad orders for Mahakumbh 2025. According to the app, devotees will receive the Mahaprasad within seven days of placing their order.
Travellers passing through Prayagraj Railway Station can also receive Mahaprasad directly during transit. Prasad offerings from Prayagraj and Ayodhya are currently available on Waayu and ONDC buyer apps, with Varanasi to follow shortly.
