Whether you need a motivational video or a quote to cheer you up, there is no dearth of inspiration on the internet. We often see many amazing stories on the internet that tug at our heartstrings and spur us to achieve something. And one such story is proof of the fact that it's never too late to begin. Recently, Rambai - a 105-year-old lady from Charkhi Dadri, Haryana - managed to complete a 100-metre race in a record time of just 45.40 seconds. She started competitive running at the age of 104 and won a double gold at the National Open Masters Athletics Championship in Vadodara, Gujarat. Rambai also revealed all that she eats in a day and the foods that she consumes to stay fit and healthy.

It was quite interesting to study what the centenarian eats in a day that keeps her active and healthy. Speaking to TOI, Rambai said, "I eat churma, dahi and doodh." Her granddaughter, Sharmila Sangwan said that they come from a family of sportspersons who have won many laurels in the past. Talking about Rambai's diet, Sangwan said that she is a pure vegetarian who includes plenty of milk products in her diet. "Nani is particular about having about 250 grams of ghee daily and 500gm of curd. She also drinks 500ml of pure milk twice a day," she said.
As for whole grains, Sharmila Sangwan said that Rambai prefers bajra or millet roti rather than rice. She also maintains an active lifestyle, working in the fields and running 3-4 kilometres daily. Further, the food that she eats is grown in the village and thus is purely organic.
Twitter users too reacted to the amazing news, congratulating the 105-year-old on her achievement. Take a look at some reactions:
