Let's admit it, celebrity weddings are some of the most awaited events on the internet. We all love to catch glimpses of our favourite celebrities and how they celebrated their milestone moment. From wedding couture to the celebrity guest list, each and every detail comes into the public eye in one way or the other. But at a recent celebrity wedding, one particular detail caught the internet's attention and not in a good way. American model Kourtney Kardashian recently tied the knot with drummer Travis Barker in an intimate Italian wedding ceremony. A photograph of the pasta served at the wedding surfaced on Twitter, and has been receiving flak as the portion was extremely tiny. Take a look:
the pasta portion size at kourtney kardashian's wedding is the one of the saddest things i've ever seen pic.twitter.com/Xq4XUMe5mq— Cardi BTEC (@amelia_perrin) May 23, 2022

The original post was shared by Kylie Jenner on Instagram stories, and then reshared by Twitter user @amelia_perrin. It has received 340k likes, 25k retweets and 12k quote tweets since the time it was posted.
In the picture, we could see Spaghetti pasta in Arabiatta sauce being served in colourful patterned plates. The pasta was being cooked live in a small pan and then transferred to the plates. While the pasta itself looked delicious, the portion size was immensely small. Just a single spoon of pasta was put into each plate at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's wedding. "The pasta portion size at Kourtney Kardashian's wedding is the one of the saddest things I've ever seen," wrote the user in her tweet.
Twitter users were quite surprised to see such a meagre meal being served at the celebrity wedding. Some jumped to defend Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. "It's probably a rich delicacy that doesn't need super sizing to be good," said one user. "At least the plates are pretty?! Gives you something nice to look at while you are still hungry," wrote another one.

Well, you're obviously not a “foodie”, this is normal in Italy. It's not all about stuffing your face full of food, it is about savouring it.— Michele Mary Haining Finch (@HainingMary) May 23, 2022
I hate that I know this (I really like the toaster and kettle from the range, even though they're prohibitively expensive and I would NEVER) but it's even tackier than it appears; the plates and the pasta are both from Dolce and Gabbana. Only in the US are massive portions a thing. I definitely noticed a portion difference while in Italy.— Aundreyaaa ???????? (@Dreita2003) May 23, 2022

This is nighttime pasta. It's not a meal. It's what Italians eat as a snack after the club/party along with a nightcap. That look DELICIOUS!— Furious Flower????????????✊???? (@xylem44) May 24, 2022
