Crusty pizza dough topped with fresh marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese and crunchy toppings makes for a toothsome treat, every single time. Pizza lovers can have their favourite dish for breakfast, lunch or dinner. However, even pizza fans were shocked to see a recent breakfast pizza created with a topping of 'Froot Loops', a popular breakfast cereal. The picture of the breakfast pizza was shared by a newspaper 'Des Moines Register', which tweeted to reveal the launch of the pizza by a local eatery in Iowa called Fong's Pizza. Take a look at the original tweet:
We know how Iowans feel about their breakfast pizza, but have you considered Froot Loops on pizza? Well, now's the time to consider it, as the Forest Ave. location in Des Moines of Fong's Pizza has added it to their menu. https://t.co/oCWfy3VhSbpic.twitter.com/PepQHm06M2— Des Moines Register (@DMRegister) February 26, 2021

The Fruit Loop pizza was made with regular pizza dough topped with a few unique ingredients. The Fong's official Twitter handle described the pizza topping as, "Cream cheese, with a tiny bit of Mozzarella just to tie it all together and a sweet cereal milk drizzle. Standard white thin crust. (Ours is slightly sweet as is)." According to reports, having pizza breakfast is supposed to be one of Iowa's specialties. Fong's Pizza is also offering a number of other breakfast pizzas, such as eggs, bacon and even a number of vegetarian toppings.
The tweet received extreme reactions from people, who could not believe their eyes on seeing the bizarre creation. Users could not imagine what the absurd breakfast pizza would taste like.
