Idli is a South Indian staple that has become a breakfast favourite. Not only is it extremely healthy and delicious, the dish is also ready in a jiffy. Simply take the usual rice batter and steam it in the usual moulds for a couple of minutes to prepare soft and fluffy Idlis that can be paired with chutney, Sambhar or even had as is. There are so many variations and versions of the Idli - from Oats Idli to Rava Idli and more. Indian Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu recently took to Twitter to share his experience of trying Millet Idlis - a healthy version of Idli he highly recommended. Take a look at his tweet:

"Had a sumptuous breakfast of millet idlis today made by 'Vasena Poli' stall run by a young agri-entrepreneur Chittem Sudheer in Visakhapatnam," read the tweet by the official handle of the Vice President's secretariat. A few pictures of the Idlis were also shared in the tweet. The yummy millet idlis were steamed in banana leaves and paired with two different kinds of coconut chutney.
Indian VP M. Venkaiah Naidu was all praises for the healthy breakfast prepared by the young entrepreneur. "With a rich flavour and taste, such millet-based food offers a healthy and organic alternative to our diet," he added in his tweet. He also wrote in the same thread, "Such innovative efforts by our youth to go back to our traditional diet & lifestyle are commendable."
Twitter users were also intrigued to see the Vice President's healthy breakfast. Many of them wanted to sample the delicious Millet Idlis themselves. Others wanted him to encourage even more entrepreneurs that are working towards providing healthy food and preserving traditional recipes.
