Indian weddings and food are a match made in culinary heaven. Agree? From live counters to never-ending options, food is a priority. Now, a video of the elaborate menu at a Punjabi wedding is making a lot of noise on social media. The clip opens with a woman standing in front of a food counter. She then asks her friend in Punjabi, "Aye ki hai (What is this)? Lasaagna (struggling to pronounce)?" while pointing towards the dish. To this, her friend, who looks shocked, responds, "Tu paagal ho gayi hai, bhai. Lasagna hounda hai. (Are you mad?)" while trying to teach her how to pronounce the Italian dish.
The woman then turns the camera towards the food item, focusing on the menu tag, which reads "Veg Lasagna." For those who may not know, lasagna is a type of flat pasta prepared with stacked layers of pasta alternating with delicious sauces, along with cheese, veggies, or meat. Take a look:
