We all know about Harbhajan Singh's antics on the cricket field. Fans are no stranger to his records, match-winning performances, or even how he got under the skin of the Australians time and again during his hey days. However, what not a lot of people know is the fact that Harbhajan is also a big-time foodie. His social media timeline is proof that he enjoys cooking and relishing food. He has his own cheat days and indulgences. Harbhajan, also, constantly reiterates the importance of a healthy way of living. In a post on Instagram, Harbhajan shared an image of a healthy breakfast. He captioned the post, “Most important meal breakfast.”
In the photo that Harbhajan shared, we can see a delectable spread packed with proteins and nutrients. There are eggs, sweet moist banana bread, fruits along with a colourful plate of dry-fruit salad kept on a table. The salad had walnuts that are high in antioxidants. There is a fruit juice he was sipping alongside. Take a look:
A few days ago, Harbhajan and his wife, Geeta Basra, celebrated the arrival of their second child sending goodie boxes to their friends, including actress Neha Dhupia and Mika Singh. They were filled with drool-worthy sweets that would surely tickle your tastebuds. Read more about it here.
On an earlier occasion, he put oj the chef's hat and rustled up a lip-smacking chole curry. In the video, Harbhajan was seen putting some finely sliced onions into a pan containing oil. Then, he added some tomatoes and spices. Finally, he added the boiled chole to the pot, scoops out a spoonful of it and shows it to his followers.
Earlier, in March, we once saw Geeta enjoying Harbhajan's favourite summer fruit — mangoes. How did we know it was Harbhajan's favourite fruit? Well, Geeta, along with the photo of a few sliced mangoes, had also tagged her husband and wrote, “@harbhajan3 your fav has arrived”. Read more about it here.
In another instance, the cricketer was also seen extending help in making chapatis, in pure desi style. We could see him sitting down, applying ghee to the chapatis while they were being made on a chulha on the other side.
