Ingredients of Bihari-Style Sattu Chutney

  • 1 Cup sattu (roasted chickpea flour)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Water (as needed)
  • 1 tsp mustard oil

How to Make Bihari-Style Sattu Chutney

In a mixing bowl, add sattu, chopped onion, green chillies, and coriander leaves. Mix well to combine everything together. Add lemon juice and salt. Mix again.

Gradually add water to the mixture while stirring continuously until you achieve a smooth consistency.

Now, heat mustard oil in a pan and let it cool down slightly.

Pour the cooled mustard oil over the prepared chutney and mix well.

Allow the chutney to rest for 10-15 minutes for the flavours to meld together.
