About Burnt Garlic Mushroom Fried Rice: It is a very easy and satisfying Indo Chinese recipe for a lazy meal. You can use the leftover rice to make this scrumptious dish. It is almost like making vegetable fried rice but with a little twist.

Ingredients of Burnt Garlic Mushroom Fried Rice

  • 2 Boiled Basmati rice
  • 1/2 tsp oil
  • 2 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic (chopped)
  • 4 pieces Green Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup French Beans (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Carrot ( chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Capsicum (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Vinegar

How to Make Burnt Garlic Mushroom Fried Rice

  • 1.Heat sesame oil in a wok and add chopped garlic. Stir fry the garlic until golden.
  • 2.Remove the garlic from the wok and keep it aside. Pour some oil and add spring onions then stir fry the spring onions for a minute until light brown.
  • 3.Add other chopped vegetables and stir fry for 2-3 minutes on a medium to high flame.
  • 4.Add black pepper, salt, soya sauce and vinegar. Mix well with the stir veggies.
  • 5.Add rice to the veggies pan. Mix it well and stir fry it together.
  • 6.Place the fried rice into a plate and garnish it with spring onions and burnt garlic.
  • 7.Serve it hot with your favourite chinese gravy.

Recipe Notes

Adding rice vinegar is optional and you can skip it. Instead of vinegar you can also add regular vinegar or apple cider vinegar or lemon juice.
