Goan crab cutlets with potatoes, chillies and lime. Coated in an egg batter and rolled in bread crumbs. Deep fried till golden.

Ingredients of Cullieo Cutlets

  • 1 kg crabs
  • 500 gm potatoes
  • 5 gm turmeric powder
  • 20 gm chilli powder
  • 10 gm green chillies
  • 5 gm pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 10 ml lime juice
  • Coating:
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 gm bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Cullieo Cutlets

  • 1.Chop the green chillies.
  • 2.Boil the crabs and remove the flesh.
  • 3.Boil the potatoes and mash them along with the crab meat and the rest of the ingredients.
  • 4.Beat the eggs. Make oval rolls of desired size.
  • 5.Coat the rolls with egg and breadcrumbs.
  • 6.Deep fry till golden brown in color.
