Ingredients of Crab Xec Xec
- 4 freshly grated coconuts
- 10 gm curry leaves
- 10 gm green chillies
- 4 onions, sliced
- 20 gm turmeric powder
- 15 gm ginger & garlic
- 10 gm cardamom
- 10 gm cinnamon
- 10 gm cloves
- 20 gm black pepper
- 1 nutmeg
- 20 gm khus khus
- 10 gm cumin seeds
- 10 gm fennel seeds
- 100 gm Kashmiri red chilli
- 4 crabs
- Salt, to taste
- 2 gm tamaric powder
- 40 gm onion, chopped
- 10 gm green chilli, chopped
- 5 gm garlic, chopped
- 20 gm tomato, chopped
- Salt, to taste
How to Make Crab Xec Xec

Roast the masalas stated in A and B separately and set aside to cool down. Now grind all the roasted masalas together until smooth.

Marinate the crab with lemon juice, turmeric powder, and salt to taste. Heat oil in a pan, sauté garlic and onion until golden brown. Now add the tomatoes and chopped green chilies, and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.

Now add the marinated crab and continue cooking for 8 to 10 minutes. Next, add the wet xacuti masala and cook further. Add water if required and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

Adjust the seasoning and garnish with chopped coriander. Serve with poi bread.
