How to make Iced Blue Tea

Blue tea is a combination of Pea Butterfly, Chamomile, Lemongrass, Moringa, Sea Buckthorn and Rose Petals expertly blended with Green Tea. This exotic tea has a floral aroma with a vegetal sweet note to relish and to stay well-nourished. When mixed with English Breakfast Black tea, Lemon juice, Sugar syrup and crushed ice, it is a perfect summer cooler to keep the oppressive heat at bay.

Ingredients of Iced Blue Tea

  • 1 Tbsp Blue Tea
  • 1 tbsp English Breakfast Tea
  • 20 ml Lemon Juice
  • 2-3 tbsp Sugar Syrup
  • Crushed Ice Cubes

How to Make Iced Blue Tea

Put 1 tbsp Blue tea in 100 ml hot water. Steep for 4-5 mins till the blue colour is infused in the water and then strain. Place it aside and let it cool for 15 mins.

Pour 1 tbsp English Breakfast tea in 50 ml hot water. Steep for 3-4 mins and then strain. Place it aside and let it cool for 15 mins.

Pour the lemon juice into the glass of your choice.

Then add the sugar syrup into the glass.

Pour the strained Blue tea as well as English Breakfast tea in the glass.
6.
Throw the crushed Ice into the cold tea blend and stir well with a tea bar spoon.
7.
Garnish it with a slit lemon and serve.
