Lauki Vadi is an easy snack made with grated laukis and besan. To make the best use of this healthy snack, try roasting them with as little oil as you can.

Ingredients of Lauki Vadi

  • 1 Cup Grated lauki
  • 1 Cup Besan
  • 1/2 Cup Sooji
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped onions
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped coriander
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger garlic chilli paste
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • Salt as required

How to Make Lauki Vadi

Take the grated lauki and add a little salt and lit is sit for 10 mins.

After 10 mins, squeeze all the water out of the lauki.

In a bowl, add lauki, besan, sooji, all the other ingredients and mix properly.

Be careful while adding salt because the lauki has already soaked in some salt before.
5.
Mix everything properly; try using less water so your batter is mixed well but not liquidy.
6.
Prepare round discs vadi to fry.
7.
In a pan take 2tbspn oil, in low heat fry both sides for 5 minutes each. Once golden brown, you can remove and serve.
