As the name suggests, this vada recipe is made using soaked moong chilka dal. This vada recipe also makes a good dish for when you have unexpected guests and want to whip up a quick snack.

Ingredients of Moong Chilka Vada
- 1 Cup Soaked Moong Dal chilka
- 4 tbsp Besan
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- Salt as per taste
- Curry Leaves

Soak moong dal overnight. In the morning, drain the water and blend it till a coarse consistency.
Next, add it in a bowl and throw in chopped onions, curry leaves, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli, pepper and salt as per taste.
Mix this all well. Now add besan to this and combine again.
Once it is formed make roundels or give it a shape of a vada.
Then deep fry them till crisp.
Take it out on a plate and enjoy these vadas with your tea!
