  • 1 Cup cold water
  • 1 Cup curd
  • To taste salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • Few drops of lemon juice
  • 4-5 Curry leaves
  • A dash of roasted cumin powder

Mix everything together in a bowl. Rice should be completely immersed in curd-water mixture. Leave it overnight.
