Ingredients of Pakhala Bhata

  • 2 Cups cooked rice
  • 1 Cup cold water
  • 1 Cup curd
  • To taste salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • Few drops of lemon juice
  • 4-5 Curry leaves
  • A dash of roasted cumin powder

How to Make Pakhala Bhata

  • 1.Mix everything together in a bowl. Rice should be completely immersed in curd-water mixture. Leave it overnight.
  • 2.Next day, garnish with coriander leaves, mustard seeds etc. or consume as it is.
