Ingredients of Pan Fried Southern Spiced White Snapper
- 500 gms white snapper
- 150 gms tomato
- salt
- 100 gms raw mango
- 20 gms coccum
- 50 gms ginger
- 25 gms garlic
- 3 Green chilli
- 50 ml coconut milk
- 1 Lemon
- 2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 2 pinch turmeric powder
- 150 gms shallots
- 2 sprigs curry leaves
- 50 ml coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp fenugreek
- 1 tsp crushed pepper
- 25 gms mustard seeds
How to Make Pan Fried Southern Spiced White Snapper

Marinate fish with ginger, garlic, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice. Rest for half an hour.

Heat pan, crackle mustard and fenugreek. Saute garlic, ginger, shallots and curry leaves in coconut oil. Saute till golden brown.

Now add chilli powder and turmeric powder. Saute for a few seconds.

Add tomato paste and soaked coccum. Saute well until tomatoes are cooked properly. Pour cocout milk into this and reduce.

Grill the marinated fish in hot plate and top it with this masala. Serve hot.
