Much popular sweet, Malpua has number of varieties. This paneer Malpua is not only tasty but also a healthy dessert. Sugar syrup adds to a wonderful taste.

Ingredients of Paneer Malpua

  • For Malpua:
  • 100 Gram Malai Paneer
  • 3 Tbsp Khoya
  • 8 tsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Maida
  • 1 Cup Ghee
  • For Sugar Syrup:
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 tsp Saffron
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 tsp Dry Fruits

How to Make Paneer Malpua

  1. For Preparing Malpuas:
  2. 1.First make a batter of paneer pieces, Khoya and 4 tsp milk in a mixer grinder.Paneer Malpua
  3. 2.Beat it enough to get a thick smooth batter.Paneer Malpua
  4. 3.Pour the batter in a bowl and add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and maida.Paneer Malpua
  5. 4.Add more milk if required and beat it well.Paneer Malpua
  6. 5.Now in a pan heat ghee to make malpuas.Paneer Malpua
  7. 6.Drop about a tablespoon of the batter into it and cook until light brown on both sides.Paneer Malpua
  8. For preparing Sugar Syrup:
  9. 1.In another pan add sugar and water. Let the sugar dissolve.Paneer Malpua
  10. 2.Add saffron for fragrance and mix well.Paneer Malpua
  11. 3.Add cardamom powder and dry fruits. Mix and boil it for thick smooth syrup.Paneer Malpua
  12. 4.Immerse malpuas in sugar syrup for 10-15 minutes.Paneer Malpua
  13. 5.After malpua soaks the syrup, serve it hot garnished with dry fruits.Paneer Malpua
