Ingredients of Paneer Pasanda

  • 300 gms Paneer
  • 1 tbsp Cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp Almonds
  • 2-3 tbsp Green chutney
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 Green chilli
  • Oil (for frying)
  • For the gravy:
  • 4-5 Oniona
  • 10-12 Cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp Watermelon seeds
  • 5-6 Garlic cloves
  • 3 Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Jeera
  • 1 Black cardamom
  • 2 Small caradmoms
  • 1 Bayleaf
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp Red chilli
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Kasuri methi
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 1 tsp Sugar

How to Make Paneer Pasanda

First take paneer and cut it into thin square pieces. Now you have to prepare stuffing.

Take the remaining paneer, mash it and add finely chopped green chillies, cashews, almonds and green chutney to it and mix.

Take a square piece of paneer, spread the prepared stuffing on it and cover it by pressing it with another piece.

Take corn flour in a bowl and make a thin batter. Heat oil in a pan, dip paneer pieces in the batter and fry till it changes color slightly. Keep them aside.

For the gravy:

1.
Put a vessel on the gas and put onion in it. Along with this, add garlic, ginger, green chilies, cashews, melon seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, small cardamom, large cardamom and some salt.

Cook it by adding water, when it comes to a boil, cover the lid and let it cook. When the onion becomes soft, turn off the flame and separate all the whole spices.

Allow the mixture to cool and grind to a smooth paste. On the other hand, put some ghee and oil in a pan and heat it on the gas.

Add cumin seeds and two small cardamoms to it, now add the prepared onion paste and fry it, after frying it for some time add red chili, turmeric and coriander powder and mix. After a while add whipped to it.

Add Kashmiri red chillies and some salt, keep in mind that you had added salt to the onions earlier. Mix everything well and cook. Now add cream and mix it.

Sprinkle garam masala and kasoori methi and mix well. Garnish with green coriander. Cut paneer pieces into triangle chefs and place them on a serving plate. Pour the prepared gravy over it and serve.
