Ingredients of Pizza Dough

  • 2 cups refined flour
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp
  • Oil
  • Water to mix the dough
  • 2, 10

How to Make Pizza Dough

  • 1.Dissolve sugar in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
  • 2.Sprinkle yeast over the water and leave in a draught-free place to froth.
  • 3.Sieve the refined flour with salt and rub the oil into it.
  • 4.Add yeast solution and knead into a smooth, but not stiff dough, using water as required.
  • 5.Place in a greased bowl and cover with a thick, damp cloth or cling foil.
  • 6.Place in a warm draught-free place to rise.
  • 7.When the dough has doubled, punch it in the center, smoothen it and leave to rise once again.
  • 8.To test, press into the dough lightly and the impression should fill up gradually when your dough is ready.
