Ingredients of Sambhar Masala

  • 1 Cup Channa dal
  • 1 Cup Toor dal
  • 1 Cup Urad dal
  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 1/2 Cup Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Cup Turmeric cubes
  • 1 Cup Coriander Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Fennel seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Pepper corn
  • 1/4 Cup Castor oil
  • 2 Cups Dry red chillies
  • 2 Cups Round Dry chilli
  • 2 Tbsp Gingerly oil
  • 1 Tbsp Asafoetida
  • 2 Tbsp Crystal salt

How to Make Sambhar Masala

Heat a pan and dry roast all ingredients individually.

Make sure not to burn them. Then mix all in a blender.

Add the oils and preserve.
