About Whole Fish Recipe: A spicy, bacon stuffed whole fish topped with onion, garlic, sweet chillies and white wine. Baked to perfection, this is the ultimate, delicious dish to bake for a dinner party!
Ingredients of Whole Fish
1 Red snapper or any fresh white fish
1/2 Kg Potatoes (diced), peeled
4 Bacon slices
To taste Sea salt
1-2 Tbsp Garlic
2 Bay leaves
2 Onions (cut in roundels)
2 Tomatoes (cut in roundels)
3-4 Tbsp White wine
1 tsp Sweet chillies
How to Make Whole Fish
1.Trim the tail and fins of the fish and make few slashes in the middle.
2.Take a baking dish and layer it with half of onions, garlic and tomatoes.
3.Place the fish on top and insert the bacon in the cuts.
4.Add rest of the garlic, onions and tomatoes on top.
5.Keep the potatoes on the side and season with salt and pepper.
6.Sprinkle olive oil and white wine followed by sweet chillies.
7.Garnish with parsley and bake in a pre-heated oven for 40 minutes or till done.
