Ingredients of Zero-Oil Ghugni

  • 1 Cup Safed matar (white pea)
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi (turmeric)
  • A pinch of Baking soda
  • Black salt – as per taste
  • Tamarind water – as per taste
  • Roasted cumin-coriander-red chilli powder (bhaja masala) – 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped onion, cucumber, green chilli, coriander leaves – for garnish
  • Sev – for garnish

How to Make Zero-Oil Ghugni

Wash the matar and soak over night

Pressure cook the boiled matar with haldi and baking soda
3.
Transfer it to a bowl and add tamarind water, black salt and bhaja masala to it. Mix well.

Add the garnishing ingredients mentioned and serve.
5.
You can also enjoy it with butter-toasted pav.
