This date cake recipe is made using whole-wheat flour (atta) instead of all-purpose flour. It is rich, moist and oh-so divine! Enjoy this delightful cake along with your evening cup of tea or coffee. First, we need to chop the dates and soak them overnight. (You can also soak them in milk and microwave them for 2 minutes if you're running short of time.) Preheat the oven to 220-degree C. Blend the soaked dates, milk and sugar to form a smooth paste. Now, shift this paste to another bowl and add oil to it. Gradually add flour and mix well. Add chopped cashew nuts and almonds while saving some for later. Line a baking tin with butter paper and pour the batter into it. Sprinkle the saved nuts on top. Bake at 180 degree C for 15-20 minutes. Once done, allow it to cool for some time before serving. Whole wheat date cake is ready!
