The weekend is here and it's normal to miss going out, meeting friends over fancy meals and indulging in all the fun that we could be having. As much as we miss that, as responsible citizens we have to stay back home, but that does not mean that we have to hold back our taste buds too! So what if you can't go to a fancy restaurant and enjoy your favourite Thai red curry, or ice cream rolls or Kung pao Chicken -you can easily cook up great and delicious food right in your own kitchen! There is a long list of recipes that even an amateur home chef could excel at. And if you still don't feel confident, you can ask your family or people you are living with to help. Make your weekend even more interesting by cooking together and eating together, whip a great recipe, dress up and just enjoy with your close ones.
What's easier to make then a salad, right? But it's the weekend and we are obviously not spoiling it by suggesting some plain vegetable salads for you. How about a chicken salad then? To make this recipe, you would require minced chicken, ginger-garlic paste and some shredded or thinly-sliced vegetables like cabbages, carrots, onions and spring onions. For the sauce, use soy sauce and some sweet chilli sauce. On top of this, we will add salt and black pepper as required and chilli flakes and coriander for extra flavours.
Now that you have all the ingredients, all you need to do heat some oil in a pan, add ginger-garlic, chicken, cut vegetables one after the other and let it cook.
