To begin with the recipe, marinate chicken pieces with turmeric, salt, red chilli powder and ginger-garlic paste. Set aside. Now, heat oil in a kadhai, add whole spices, chopped onion and tomatoes. Let it cook properly.
Once done, take a mixer-grinder, add fresh desiccated coconut along with water and grind until you get a smooth paste. PS: It's a coastal chicken curry, coconut is very important in this one.
