Rather than easting food, use your leftover roti to make something better and tastier - ladoo. Yes, ladoo made with roti turns out to be such a delight that you might purposely make extra rotis to make these ladoos later.
All it takes is 5 minutes and a couple of other ingredients to make this tasty and filling ladoo with leftover roti. Filled with nutrient-rich dry fruits, this ladoo is just hearty dessert you'd need after your meal. Tear the leftover roti into small pieces and grind them into a coarse, grainy powder. Roast it with some ghee and keep aside. Then heat some ghee and roast dry fruits of your choice till golden brown; then crush the dry fruits. Now add a sweetener to the warm roasted roti powder. You can add jaggery, sugar, brown sugar or honey. Also, add dry fruits and cardamom along with some ghee and water. Divide the mixture into round ladoos and serve warm or let them sit till the ladoos come down to room temperature.
