Yesterday, Chhillar posted a picture of herself with a tall glass of the trendy bubble tea, which made quite a stir on social media last year. Have a look!
For the uninitiated, bubble tea is a non-alcoholic, non-carbonated beverage, enjoyed by people around the world. Bubble tea is also known as tapioca pearl drink, Boba Nai Chai or simple the Bubble Drink. The 'bubbles' in the tea are the jelly-like tapioca pearls, that are added to the cold tea brew. The pearls settle at the bottom of the glass, giving the drink a pretty Instagram-friendly look. The tea is available in a verity of flavors and is very famous with young foodies, who love sharing pictures of their own colorful bubble teas on Instagram. The tea is available in a number of cafes and restaurants in India as well. But how healthy, is this 'trendy' tea? Not much, we'd say, with all the flavors and added sugars in the drink. Although Miss World Manushi Chhillar follows a strict diet and fitness regime, she does enjoy her occasional sweet binge. In fact, the diva revealed in an interview that she has quite a strong sweet tooth and her favorite Indian sweet is the delectable kaju katli.
