For the unversed, Thecha is a classic Maharashtrian chutney that is made using a combination of green chillies, garlic, peanuts and coriander. First, heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and saute until golden brown. Add jeera and allow it to splutter. Now, add green chillies and mix well. Add peanuts and cook on medium flame for around 2-3 minutes. (You can also dry roast the peanuts before adding them, as it gives a nice flavour to the chutney.) Add salt. Take off from heat and allow it to cool. Now, grind all the ingredients using a mortar or pestle.
