Here is one such super refreshing drink that not only hydrates more than packaged drinks, it also tastes just as good. Here is a recipe of summer-special, immunity-boosting coconut lemon drink that you'll definitely love.
The summer drink recipe was shared by food vlogger Alpa Modi on her YouTube channel 'Something's Cooking With Alpa', who claims this drink to be an excellent remedy for symptoms like fever, dehydration, dizziness and nausea.
Here's the complete recipe of coconut lemon summer drink:
Step 1 - Take one cup of fresh coconut water.
Step 2 - Add half tbsp of ginger juice. To make this, grate 11/2 tbsp of ginger and squeeze tightly in a cloth to take out the juice.
Step 3 - Now add juice of 1 lemon. Also add 2 tbp of powdered sugar. You can replace sugar with honey, or you can even skip this step entirely.
Step 4 - Also sprinkle in about 1/8 tsp of black pepper powder. And add some ice for some freshness and coolness in the hot weather.
Step 5 - Once all the ingredients are combined well, cover the glass with another glass and shake it well to mix everything thoroughly.
You can also add a pinch of salt. Pour into a mason jar or any glass and enjoy this healthy, tasty drink.
